We have received an invitation to be present at the annual event of the DTU.SBE 

I think it would be a good chance to draw some attention to BG especially from students in these disciplines. (We got a lot of interest at our BioBeers from DTU after a short talk at their event, earlier this year)

I would like to go, but not alone. =D

Hey Keenan,

I wrote to you on facebook a few days ago on behalf of SBE.DTU, and we discussed our yearly event, Reach&Discover. Biologigaragen and its biohackers fill out a rather unique niche in the array of possibilities that exist within biotech, and that's why we would very much like to see you represented at the event. If you could bring one or two interesting projects along with you at the day, I think you could attract a lot of students!

Of course, if some of your members would like to just network, mingle and visit other stands during the day, they are very much welcome to do that - all guests are welcome. Various DTU research groups, biotech companies and organisations will be represented.

Below follows the "formal" invitation to the event, along with some practical information.

If you would like to participate, please respond no later than the 14th of October with the names of the people who will be at your stand, so we can have nametags ready at the day.

Reach & Discover

Dear potential participant at Reach & Discover,

On behalf of Society for Biological Engineering (SBE) at the Technical University of Denmark, we are delighted to invite you to attend to our annual fair: ”Reach and Discover”. The event will be held on from 11.00-14.00 on the 9th of November, in building 208 at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Lyngby Campus.

This is an event where students of Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Food and Chemistry (etc.), have the opportunity to hear about not only your work. It is a great occasion to get in touch with motivated students, and to network with fellow colleagues in interdisciplinary studies and beyond. We provide the setting and the students - all you need to bring is yourself and your work.

Practical

Date     Wednesday November 9th 2016

Time    11:00-14:00

Location   Building 208 / DTU Lyngby

Description By default we will put up table and two postersboards on the day for you to use. You may use them as you wish to give the students an idea of the projects you work with.

What we do NOT expect of you

You are not supposed to tutor, lecture or otherwise teach the students visiting your stand, just bring your work, projects and good mood. In this way, no preparation should be necessary.
