Genetic Engineering Techniques Class
Sunday Feb. 15th @11amHave you ever wanted to learn how to genetically engineer bacteria? How to purify and analyze your own DNA? This class will teach you about molecular biology and genetic engineering. Participants will learn lab techniques including: PCR, DNA purification and DNA Transformation so you can start performing experiments in genetic engineering all on your own.

New community project working with quantum effects and building a Surface Plasmon Resonance device.
Biochem for Newbies
Tuesday Feb. 24th @7:30pm
A new class for all who have not formally been introduced to biochemistry. We will start with atoms and
then explain molecules, bonding, and such to help you be able to read
science papers. You will understand the building blocks, their
interactions, and the processes and pathways of how life expresses
itself. The course will have a lecture and discussion format and is
designed to help those totally new and those with some background in
biochemistry. This is the first class of what will be an ongoing weekly running series.

Saturday Science - Newton's 1st and 2nd Laws of Motion
Saturday Feb. 28th @1pm
Once a month Saturday Science for kids ages 7 to 13, join us as we learn about Newton's first two laws of motion this month with hands on activities.
Synthetic Biology, Biohacking and Vegan Cheese - iGEM team meeting
Monday March 2nd @7pm
Ongoing community project which rotates an official team meeting between BioCurious and Counter Culture Labs.
