Hey lab robot folks,

Have you seen http://corexy.com/?

Supposedly implemented on the buccaneer 3D printer and helping keep costs low ( http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/pirate3d/the-buccaneer-the-3d-printer-that-everyone-can-use).  For applications that are mostly 2d and only a little 3d - esp when the toolhead doesn't need to exert a lot of xy force - like perhaps liquid handling - it could be very useful.

    Hi,

Per Alex's request, I created the OpenSCAD source file of Y Motor Bracket
from scratch and uploaded it to Lab Automation Google site.

    https://sites.google.com/site/biolabautomation/Files?pli=1

I did a couple of test prints using Up! Plus, and I believe all holes and
slits are in the right place.

Unfortunately, test-printed parts are not suitable for real use because I
printed them with minimum quality. Perhaps we can use Dieter's printer this
weekend and print a good one.

    Thanks,
    -Gen
