Happy Summer. Friday, August 9 is BikeDecaturMobileSocial. 630 from the Church St MARTA. Julys Flamingo and palm trees was rained out, but there were some who did show up and ride. Cheryl lead her first ever bike ride, and it was a success. Rain doesn't stop the dedicated. (Thanks for keeping the streak going). This months ride will be swimming holes and fountains. Cabana wear, swim suits, beach attire if desired. All rides are +/- 5 miles. 60-80 minutes. Riders should be capable of the distance and time.

McDonough cycle track project still at the design phase. Atlanta designed and built a cycle track on 10th St in three months?? What gives. Also Church St and the RR Xings??

Does anyone have information on the first bike path in Decatur / DeKalb Co. / Atlanta? Is it the lovely path off Claremont at Superior/Michigan? 

Any schools or groups doing anything bicycle related? Dates? Can BikeDecatur assist. When is bike/walk to school day? Anybody want to coordinate some bike trains? Does anyone have contacts or connections to assist Agnes Scott students cycling around Decatur? Maybe Emory students into Decatur?

Streets Alive happening twice in Atlanta

Traffic lights will be upgraded and re timed around Decatur in the near future. Any input will be useful.
