Hi Fred,

Followed your instructions: and I actually got following:

HTTP Status 503 - BigBlueButton

type Status report

message BigBlueButton

description The requested service is not currently available.

Does that mean, following what you have writtern, we need to "You need to change your networking setup or the value of BigBlueButtonURL so thathttp://<your_hostname>/bigbluebutton/ correctly resolves on the BigBlueButton server."

So basically the URL we are using http://virtual****.org/bluebutton/ is incorrectly added somewhere?

Thank you

Hi Kay,

When you setup HTTPS did you use a self-signed certificate?

The API demos will make an https call to the server API endpoint (such as for creating a meeting).  The API demos are written in Java Server Pages and get executed by tomcat7.

If you use a self-signed certificate, tomcat7 will not do the https call and you would see an error such as what you posted.

Regards,... Fred
