The D25c Ti is way heavier than the standard D25c!
By RogerRanger
My D25c Ti weighs 42g on my scale, no battery. The regular aluminum is supposed to weigh 29g empty. 42/29= 1.45. The Titanium version is 45% heavier than the standard version. But pretty! Love the light. Bright! I'm buying some 3.7v RCR123's to try. Supposed to be a lot brighter, but shorter run time. All flood, but I'm not looking for a 1xCR123 thrower.

Excellent flashlight
By Robin L Ancona
If titanium construction, corrosion resistance and a glow-in-the-dark switch doesn't matter to you, then go for the standard D25C model and save around $20. The aluminum version is also 14 grams lighter; titanium being stronger and heavier. However after actually holding it, I can tell you that weight is a real non-issue with this flashlight. It is not heavy.
If you use rechargeable lithium-ion batteries (RCR123) you can boost the lumen output up to 750 lumens with a 3.7 V (volts) battery. However, regular CR123A batteries have a higher mAh (milliamp hour) rating. The higher the mAh, the larger the capacity of the battery and the longer it will last. Duracell's CR123A has around 1550 mAh. Most RCR123A batteries are only 650 or 750 mAh. Meaning they'll go flat about twice as soon. Giving you about only 15 to 20 minutes at 750 lumens.
If you're on the fence between the D25A and D25C the thing to remember is that you won't want to use regular alkaline AA batteries with your D25A. They leak and will ruin your flashlight by eating away the circuitry. I'm sure some of the people that found their D25A just suddenly stopped working one day were probably using alkaline batteries. If you're planning on using AA batteries it won't be as bright as the D25C, but 200 lumens is plenty bright for a single AA flashlight. If you're planning on using 14500 lithium-ion batteries it will be virtually equal to the D25C using a RCR123A in output. So you'll have the rough equivalent of the D25C with the bonus of being able to switch to more common AAs come the zombie apocalypse. For a few weeks anyway. I figured since one shouldn't use garden variety alkaline AA batteries anyway in the D25A I might as well go with the D25C since the reflector is a tiny bit larger making the D25C a tiny bit brighter without increasing mass.
Mine came with a few scratches and was missing the Allen wrench that it was supposed to come with. Seriously, it could have been used for all I know. If so, it wasn't used much. The sellers seems nice and I'm sure would replace it if I asked. The scratches don't bother me since it works great. The sellers shipped it on the same day I ordered it; which was much appreciated. I recommend this flashlight if you're looking for the best flashlight you can put in your pocket and not even notice.

Was not a new flashlight as advertised.

One of the screws on the clip was cross threaded and only half way in. Allen wrench was missing. Be careful with this seller. I paid for a new light and received someone's return. Now I have to contact Eagletac and get some screws.
