Superior Power - Dual Versatility

The Hammerli X2 is a break barrel, spring powered, and dual caliber pellet rifle. The Hammerli X2 is a great alternative for those who want to target practice, or small game hunt in areas that are not appropriate for actual firearms.
The Hammerli X2 features a break barrel design to load a single pellet directly into the breech, and also to cock the rifle. The spring, and piston on the Hammerli X2 can launch a pellet up to a blazing velocity of 1,100 feet per second, and up to 600 yards depending on the caliber used. However, the Hammerli X2 takes some strength to cock, and could be difficult for younger children. The Hammerli X2 also has an exterior safety which mechanically engages as soon as the pellet rifle is cocked. However, the safety cannot be engaged if the pellet rifle is decocked.
Without question, the selling point of the Hammerli X2 is the interchangeable dual caliber barrels. In just a matter of seconds, you can switch between the .177 caliber
pellet barrel, or the .22 caliber pellet barrel. Other features of the Hammerli X2 include adjustable rear sights for elevation, and windage, and a scope mount.
The craftsmanship of the Hammerli X2 is on, or above par with most other pellet rifles on the market today. The wooden stock is solid, and the metal barrel is sturdy, and durable. With this in mind, the Hammerli X2 is a bit hefty in weight, and could pose a problem for anyone who wants to carry it with them on foot for long distances. Nevertheless, the Hammerli X2 is very well made, and should last for years.
Overall the Hammerli X2 is a powerful, versatile, and high quality pellet rifle. I give the Hammerli X2 five stars out of five. I recommend it!
