Ipad final decision

Ok thanks to all for the input.  I've decided on a dedicated chart plotter Raymarine Dragonfly 5m.

The ipad was more money and you still needed the chart software.

I will report on the use of this neat new toy once I've installed and used it for awhile.

Oh, cost was $369 for the chartplotter only version (5m)
