35s5 window replacement

[Skip 35s5]

Has anyone replaced the six, fixed coach roof windows on a 35s5? We
are going to undertake this project on ours and would like any advice
from someone who has done this...

wow, thats going to be an interesting job. Does Beneteau still have
them? Broke a side hull port on a 321 - once you get them out - you glue
them back in - cant remember what type of glue - factory gule was
stronger that the window though. Good luck.

Fortunately for anyone looking to replace the unique coach roof
windows on the 35s5, Beneteau does still have them. They do not stock
them in North Carolina, but they are available from Beneteau in
France. We ordered ours earlier this month and were told they take 4
to 6 weeks from time of placing order to arrival in the US. Also
included with our order is the necessary adhesive and the primer
kit...

There is a great place in Annapolis called Maritime Plastics (clickable link) that custom-made replacements for me using the old ones as the model.  You could not tell them apart.  They also sold me the proper adhesive and gave me an instruction sheet for how to do it.  Alternatively, they will install them. 

Since it only took a few days to make them, my duct tape windows weren't up very long.  :-)

Since their primary business is making custom plastic parts for boats -- they know what they're doing.  I was impressed by their knowledge of what to do.

They also shaved down my swollen rudder bearings.

Larry, I’m interested in doing the same to my 35s5. What should I plan to budget for this? Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
