Has anyone used SEMCO as a teak sealer. If so, what was the results.

We use Semco clear on our seats and cockpit deck. It holds up well and creates a natural light tan look. We apply two coats every six months and follow the application directions.

No issues at all with Semco being slippery when wet. In fact, the characteristic that it retains the natural grip of teak is one of it’s benefits making it functionally superior to varnishes for surfaces that are walked on.

Over the past 6 years, I have been a convert to SEMCO as well, after trying everything else.

I concur with all of the positive things said…

They also have a Brown tint that I found gives the wood a bit more color.

I use the natural Semco teak sealer. Not slippery when wet, lasts about 6 months and use two coats as directed for application to teak.
