Hi Dave and Eric --
Yes! Please feel free to forge a handle. I think it will handle
apples just fine. Beer church is welcome to use it indefinitely.
I look forward to the cider!
Evan
Hey Dave!
Evan Singer left that ages ago as sorta a donation to beer church (I think? Evan, sorry if you told me either way and I neglected to remember). I'm not sure if I ever met him. I'm CCing him on this message now, so let's reply-all to discuss. As long as it was an improvement I don't think he would mind but I can't speak for him.
Eric

----DaveHello my fellow acolytes of the brew,I'm finishing up my apple cider press at PS1 today, and I'm planning an upcoming cider day. I'm cleaning up the fruit grinder to see how well that will work to grind up some apples, however before JFDI'ing a new handle for it, I figured I'd post here to inquire about the origins of this grinder. Does it have a wheel/handle somewhere? Is it owned by beerchurch or PS1? if not, does it's owner mind if I forge a handle for it? I'm going to get back to scrubbing that beast, but let me know, and get ready for some delicious cider this winter!
