All the Beautiful Soup documentation uses the formatting "Beautiful Soup" - two words, both capitalized. However, I often see it written BeautifulSoup (like it would be in code) or even beautifulsoup. Google doc's spell check even goes so far as to suggest that "Beautiful Soup" is a spelling error and should be "Beautifulsoup".

Which is correct?

Tom,

The correct name of the library is Beautiful Soup. It's true that lots of people write it as BeautifulSoup. I don't think it's a big deal, but if you want to cite the software or something, there is a space in the name.
