I'm currently making my first poster since March and finding that the poster that I'm making, as well as previous ones I've successfully made in the past, are producing errors when I try to build them. I'm using TeXLive 2013 on Arch Linux.

I've attached the log, but the relevant part appears to be this:

! Package keyval Error: fg undefined.

See the keyval package documentation for explanation.
Type  H <return>  for immediate help.
 ...

l.34 ...font{footline}{fg=white, size=\normalsize}

Try typing  <return>  to proceed.
If that doesn't work, type  X <return>  to quit.

! Package keyval Error: bg undefined.

See the keyval package documentation for explanation.
Type  H <return>  for immediate help.
 ...

l.46 ...rge,series=\bf,bg=i6colorscheme1,fg=white}

Try typing  <return>  to proceed.
If that doesn't work, type  X <return>  to quit.

Did you ever get this resolved?  I am having the same problem with an old file that always worked before.

keyval is very tricky son of a compiler!
I've seen problems with non printable characters (e.g. new lines or spaces) or with national characters. I personally had problem with bibliography file. For some reason file created from I,librarian under windows was causing problems under linux and vice versa. However bibliography just copied from browser window was working good.
The best way to hunt down the error is creating project step by step
1. create some minimum working example
2. add another elements you need
3. wait for error
4. ???
5. PROFIT!
The reason might be also some changes in packages so try to disable as much as you can and add them gradually.
I wish you luck!

Thanks, I had done that.  It appeared to be a single line to set the color of the font in a beamer footnote, which I found using the step by step approach you had suggested.  It must be due to an update to the beamer package, but the code I was using is still shown in the beamer manual and should still be valid.  Luckily, it was just to alter the color and the default color is actually fine for my purpose, so I just deleted the command.  And now all is fine.

Thanks.
