Progress on Zotonic Project - Real-time stats

Hello,

Since the Google Summer of Code began, I have done the following on Zotonic:

- Installed and ran Zotonic together with the IDE and tools required to contribute to it.

- Studied the architecture of Zotonic and its data model.

Also made the following contributions that have been merged:

- Added a metric to display the number of open TCP connections in the real-time dashboard.

-  Switched Zotonic from the the older Google Analytics (using ga.js) to the newer Google Universal Analytics (which uses analytics.js).

At the moment am working on storage of the real-time statics which will be consumed by the still to be created historic view and used for later analysis. I have developed the schema to store the data as well as my plan of approach and currently coding the model which will handle interaction with the database.

NB: I lost some weeks at the beginning of the coding period due electrical failures in Cameroon, falling ill with malaria and attending Google I/O - with the exception of Google I/O this was one unlucky period :-). These are all sorted and am fully into the project.
