                          Drupal PHP Developers (remote)

 

This is a remote contract that may never require a home office meeting. It is a full time (40hrs) contract, not an after work or weekend project. One MUST be able to prove prior remote experience along with the skills listed below. This is a March start and should fill up the rest of the year. Drupal PHP Developers (Remote)

 

Multi-media publishing company with an aggressive digital growth agenda seeks  accomplished, smart Drupal and PHP developers talent to help our development team in building Drupal based sites and applications in a high-paced, customer focused environment.  

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

·        Develops and integrates customized modules into Drupal applications

·        Builds Drupal sites in a large enterprise, project-based environment

 

     Follows established best practices and development protocols

·        Collaborates with developers, shares technical components and knowledge and contributes to discussions on coding practices

·        Contributes to technical documentation for projects

·        Meets project deadlines

 

Qualifications:

·        Minimum of 2-5 years real-world Drupal development experience

·        Proficiency with Drupal 6 and 7 architecture and framework APIs

·        Expertise in authoring and customizing Drupal modules

·        Strong PHP skills and experience in PHP framework. Code Igniter experience is a huge plus

·        Solid experience with HTML, Javascript (jQuery) and CSS

·        Familiarity with source control (Subversion/Git) and code-deployment workflows

·        Knowledge of high-availability server infrastructure and caching strategies a plus

·        Solutions-oriented thinker; weighing all available options in search of best outcomes and proactively tackling new challenges

·        Strong communicator comfortable in partnering with product lead in agile development process

·        Must be detail oriented, deadline driven, and take pride and ownership in the quality of his/her code work
