We are glad to announce that version 0.4.1 has been released. It means
a major improvement on the library, with new features, demos and
documentation.

The changes are:

-Fixed bugs.
-Improved and extended documentation.
-Extended and simplified API accross platforms.
-Extended functionality (new surrogate functions, new priors, new
kernels, new criteria).
-Improved modularity of the optimization process to allow plotting and
debugging of intermediate steps.
-Added more demos and examples.

Note that the parameter definition have changes to address the new
functionaly and it is not compatible with the previous definition.
Thus, you might need to modify the parameters in your code.

Now you have an extended documentation describing them
http://rmcantin.bitbucket.org/html/modelopt.html

Also, although the old repository is still updated, for naming
purposes the main repository will be
https://bitbucket.org/rmcantin/bayesopt

If you want to change the repository in your system, just go edit the
file <path_to_repository>/.hg/hgrc in your computer and change the
"default" path to point to the new address.

If you prefer git to mercurial, there is also new mirror at
https://github.com/rmcantin/bayesopt

Best,

Ruben
