Some one can file an RTI petition to know how the Bank disposed off the court directive.

The Writ Petition is disposed at admission stage itself directing the bank to consider petitioners request within 12 weeks. As far as court is concerned case is closed. No further hearing is scheduled. As such bank also kept quiet with the attitude that "let court issue further notice. we will see then".
After waiting for some time petitioners file contempt petition. Court will give notice to Bank. As GM or MD are not spending money from their pocket they will spend another few lakhs and engage advocates to fight case. This will take another one or two years. Once in a while Bank Officials come by Flight from Bengaluru and stay in good hotel to attend court in Cheenai.( May be they bring family members to enjoy trip). MD need not worry because Banks are not in habit of honoring court verdicts even if it is in pensioners favour. No body will ask MD why so much money is unnecessarily spent on losing cases. Union leaders are not interested.
Banks who are time and again boasts of social welfare activities does not care damn about how pensioners with meager income can spend money on court cases.
It is Sadistic pleasure.

SBI pensioners updation of pension approved by the Central Board of SBI, in consultation with RBI and sanction of the Central Government.  The period is from 1992 to 2012.  This was reportedly notified in the first week of October 2017.  DETAILS AWAITED.

In SBI(except e Ass banks) it was a third benefit. So there is no point
or benefit to other retirees through this decision of SBI, if any.
