June 2017 BRUG Meetup - Solving an Exercism kata via Mob Programming

Dear All,

We're doing a hands on session for this month's BRUG meetup at Go-JEK's Bangalore office.

Why Mob Programming for this meetup? 

Many of you may know the advantages of working in pairs where you get to see a different perspective to solving a given problem and you have those aha moments like why didn't I think about solving it this way or that way. Imagine how would this actually be when you have a group of around 5 people that get together to work on a problem and learnings you could possibly have when seeing more than one different way of approaching a given problem. This meetup is not only about helping you write better Ruby code, but it's also aimed to help you approach problem solving differently and hopefully in a better way through discussions within your team and also from the insights you'd hear from other teams on how they went about approaching the same problem.

Also, one more reason why we are doing this hands on session is because in the past the general feedback from the participants has been that they'd want more meetups that are hands on based.
