clipless vs flat pedals

Interestingly, in sprinting, clipless pedal gave a 15% to 30% gain in power :-o

That is huge. Of course, pulling up in the recovery stroke for longer time is not a good idea - something every expert seems to agree. But the ability to push the pedal more forward/downward in the 12 o'clock position is another gain with clipless, specially if one does the heels up position, which is recommended at that position.

I saw some videos on that as well... I didn't watch them. I will never wear cleats again. They are not for me. I'm not a sprinter ;-)
