Query on Garmin Edge 500 - GPS with Candence/HRM

Hi,

I need to finalize purchasing - Garmin Edge 500 Cyclo-computer (with
Cadence sensor + HRM strap) from US in a day or two for tracking my
rides. Its going to cost me around US $350.
I have already done quite a lot R&D on this and targeted on this
Garmin model. Since its a bit costlier affair, just thought to ask the
the rest of the seniors out there who might be using this.

If any one have valuable suggestions on this, please share your
thoughts...

Hi Pydah rest of the people who inspired me to fix my target for Garmin Edge 500 (especially Sriharsha [CAM]) :)

I am now the proud owner of it :)
Got it on Amazon, the unit will be landing in Bangalore soon, via Sunnyvale... ;)

Suggestion - take a look at Amazon (trusted) or eBay(at own risk) for
somewhat better deals.
Found a deal on Amazon for 330$ for the Edge 500 + HRM premium +
Cadence GSC 10, and am planning to pick that up.

Hi Biju,

In my view if you dont plan to use power meter, 305XT is pretty good and comes much cheaper, with the same features.
