Please take a look at this: http://www.cs.ox.ac.uk/people/jeremy.gibbons/publications/acmmpc-toc.pdf

I feel like this is the textbook worth reading; any interest in studying this book at BACAT?

Thanks,
-Vlad

I've got a copy I could bring along to the next BACAT.

Aaron, great, good news. Now we have an evidence.

Arthur, let's try to figure out when we meet. Let's have some kind of social meeting this month. Discuss the book, our plans, etc.

Thanks,

Did we finish the Jeremy Gibbons chapter? That looked like a good
starting point. Maybe it's good to try that out before committing to
the whole book? I don't know how excited people are about
calculational programming.

It's Chapter 5 in the book you're talking about.  It's available from Jeremy's publications page.  Larry sent us a link on March 28th:

Anyway, let's start with whatever chapters are available on the net -- that way we'll know that everybody has access.
