Firefox want's playing nice with Groupon, so I tried Chrome. I typed in San Jose, CA as my city. It says it ends tomorrow.

Bob, you've tested your DNA with Family Finder and your maternal uncle's. So if you are going to do this, it would be for a new person who has never taken a DNA test with FTDNA before. They will still add $12.95 S&H (includes return postage back) and a $1 Groupon fee.

Yes I am aware of that, but after my uncle completed this suddenly all my family members want to have it done.  Is this correct that it ends Monday?

Good! All these relatives want to help you stack the deck in your favor. Once you get the results, you will see what a big help it will be.

As for the Groupon, I do not know what FTDNA negotiated with them. So if the date says Monday the 10th, then I guess it's Monday the 10th.

DNA Day is the latter half of April. The last 3 or so years, FTDNA ran a brief sale in honor of DNA Day. They don't tell is project admins if they are doing it this year or what is on sale. So maybe they will do it again. I guess we play wait and see.

Hi Bob,

If you"purchase" on Groupon, you are ordering the "group coupon."  You will asked how many coupons you want.  There typically is a max.  When you are ready to buy, you place your order.  That means that you have to request a purchase by the deadline, but you typically have 90 days to buy.  

When I looked at this offer, there is a $12.95 shipping fee and a $1.00 Groupon fee.  It says on the order page that you can re-order coupons after the 90 days passes.  So it sounds like some sort of ongoing deal.
