I'd like to confirm what I think I'm reading, especially where I have a "?":

Date: 2 Oct 1718

Groom (starts near end of line 9):  Barthomeu Pacheco, son of Antonio Fernandes Galhardo? and his wife Iria de Azevedo

Bride (starts near end of line 12):  Margarida Nunes, daughter of Pedro Alves (or Alvarez?) Rabelo?, deceased, and his wife Barbara Lucas?, deceased.

Thank you for all the information.  Do you have a document that has Barthomeu Pacheco using the Galhado surname?  I have only seen it used for his father, Antonio Fernandes Galhado, on Bartholomeu's marriage to Margarida Nunes.  All other records I have found for Antonio show his name as Antonio Fernandes Pacheco.  All records I have found for Bartholomeu only show him as Bartholomeu Pacheco.

I am especially interested in this because Antonio Fernandes Pacheco and his wife Iria de Azevedo are great grandparents to my 4G-grandfather Manuel Vaz Diniz (married to Catharina Ignacia) through their son João Vaz Pacheco.  Antonio Fernandes Galhado and his wife Iria de Azevedo are great grandparents to my 4G-grandmother Catharina Ignacia (married to Manuel Vaz Diniz) through their son Bartholomeu Pacheco. 

My contention is that Antonio Frz Pacheco and Antonio Frz Galhado are the same person married to the same Iria de Azevedo, which would make Manuel Vaz Diniz and his wife Catharina Ignacia 2nd cousins.  In their marriage the priest mentions a 3rd degree dispensation.

Another point of confusion I faced was with Pedro Alves/Alvares Rebello because Alves and Alvares seemed to be used interchangeably.  I did find a Portuguese Wikipedia entry that seems to explain that Alves originated as an abbreviation for Alvares.  Today, I think Alves and Alvares are separate surnames, but I guess that wasn't always the case; they were the same name.

I'd like to suggest one correction to your data, I believe Maria do Espirito Santo (person 1.) was actually born in Ribeirinha as stated in her Lajes casamento that you reference.  I found her baptism here:

It's very frquentely, in the same family, to found more one Maria alive and married . Idem to Manoel, but less frequently.

About this one, my preference is to 1722 date, and not 1720. She married and 1756, and she have had at least 3 children. 36 years old to have 3 chidren, is a lot of. But 34 years too. Probably, there is at least one more Maria after 1722. And after, It's need verify on the obit records, a little time before the batism of each Maria. It's frequently too, the parents gave the name of a died child.

Do you see the godparents ? In one batism is a son of Pedro Alves Rebelo and in other son of Pedro Alveres Rebelo. It's realy the same surname.
