Hello,

I have a very large legacy application that makes use of Automapper 3.3.1 that would benefit greatly from having lazy mapping available to it (https://github.com/AutoMapper/AutoMapper/issues/718).

One option I've explored is to upgrade to later versions of automapper that support this, but that is proving quite daunting.

My questions:

1) Would it be technically possible to add something like this to the version 3.3.1 codebase -- or is there some fundamental reason this couldn't be done?
2) Assuming that is possible, would anyone more familiar with automapper be interested in doing this as a private build for us? (for a fee, of course).

Thanks in advance!

Maybe? Can you open a GH issue for this?

Jimmy,

Thanks for the reply! I've added the issue here: https://github.com/AutoMapper/AutoMapper/issues/2130
