Here is this link again for the east coast. We have some wind this morning,
nothing major as yet, but the RFS seem to be out and about already.

Spectacular satellite images! Are similar image sequences available
for SE Australia, etc.?

I was puzzled by the acronym RFS - Wikipedia gives 20 meanings none of
which seems relevant.

The acronym MTSAT in the link apparently means Multifunction Transfer
Satellite, but one might have guessed it stood for
MeTerological SATellite.

RFS = Rural Fire Service They also help out in any severe rainy type
weather.
