Titan gremlin query

Hi ,
   I have one query i am firing query through http which is below
   http://localhost:8182/graphs/acuitySocial/tp/gremlin?script=g.e('4jbr7rj4-k0tmo-2i39-30d30zr4').inV
 for each edage i am executing above query at the certain point my rexter get hang.

So suggest me whether this approach is wrong or do i need to create rest call .

which one is better
