Aura.Session's future?

I've done some digging around to try to find out what the future of Aura.Session is, but haven't stumbled across anything concrete yet.

I don't see it on the 'Aura v2 Packages' page on the site, but I do see a 'develop-2' branch.

I've done some searches here in the google group, but still can't seem to get a grasp on whether or not Aura.Session v1.x is just going to be maintained till it's end of life, or if there is going to be an official v2.x release.

Any word on this?

Aura.Session v1 will be maintained.

The current priority is for aura di v2 beta to get released and then to the web framework , cli framework etc ( which you will see shortly ) .

So don't think even if the development of v2 starts you don't see a stable soon ( at-least in 3 months time, I count a min of 6 months ). That means Aura.Session v1 can be used as it is stable and maintained.
