* to model, control, edit, test state machines?
* thence to step up from state machines to grammars (i.e. Mr. Barbour
urges that grammars are more composeable than state machines)?

what exists that is top-notch? has round-tripping with produced code?
can generate languages other than just C/++? had visualization? has
integrated debuggers? has good static checking? etc.

mbeddr has pretty nice support for state machines, although I believe it's limited to round-trip with C:
