The right-hand CR-10S printer is red tagged.  A user attempted printing an unapproved material ( Carbon Fiber ) which has worn away the nozzle and badly clogged the hotend.

For now, please, only print with PLA and ABS on these printers.

Do not use the following materials:

PLA w/ 'glow in the dark' particles ( they are made of glass powder / abrasive and wear out the nozzles and filament path )
Metal-bearing PLA, such as magnetic, brass, aluminum, copper, steel from ProtoPasta.
Carbon fiber PLA and ABS.  The fibers clog the nozzle easily, and they wear away the brass rapidly as they are abrasive.
High-Temperature materials such as Taulman nylon, PETG, PolyCarbonate.
Flexible filaments.

This is something we cover in the classes, and it's in the handouts.

Please, be excellent.  Don't use the printers unless you have gotten approval from Rob or Myself via a check-off, or taken the full class.

I will be taking the printer off-site for a couple days to repair it this weekend and will look into upgrading it in the future with a Micro Swiss all-steel nozzle in the future.

Sincerely,
Martin

Do you mean the printer on the left (yours)? Someone did an overnight print on the right hand one and it came out excellent.

Printer on the right.  Rob de-clogged but there is still residue and the nozzle will need replacement.
