Book scanning

Hello, I'm wondering if there is someone with a book scanner available for use? I see on the wiki page that its no longer hosted at the atxhackerspace but to start a discussion here for a possible alternative. Is anyone aware of an alternative? Thank you!

I have used http://1dollarscan.com/ they provide very good quality scans at their lowest price point and offer discounts on large batches.

Here is an example of what I got back. My only caution is that they can't handle delicate (aging) books.

interesting but looks like they do cut the spine and it would be a destructive scan

Yes you only get the PDF/MOBI file everything else is recycled
