I passed by WoodCraft today and picked up a 50 tooth sawblade for the SawStop. It's installed and ready to go.
I also spent some time cleaning up the SawStop. Blew it out with compressed air, vacuumed the sawdust, and organized the tools, covers, and misc things. Also swept.
If you use the SawStop, remember it's your responsibility to do the same... blow it out with some compressed air, vacuum up the sawdust, and sweep around the machine before packing up so the next person has a clean area to work in/around.
As a reminder, soon there will be a Woodshop Basic Safety course which will include things like operating and adjusting the bandsaw, using the SawStop and changing the blades and adjusting the saw, as well as the other woodshop tools. Everyone will be expected to take and pass the class or have the instructor check them off as qualified to operate in the woodshop.
Sincerely,
