We have put a physical red tag on the tool. The red tags are located in the drawer by the personal protection equipment cabinet. The person placing the red tag is responsible for posting a email to the members list. Whoever fixes the tool is responsible for posting the the members list stating that it has been fixed.
In the case of the lasers. The calendar will state that the laser is down for repairs.
Hi ATXHS, We obviously need a better way to disseminate information on the status of red tags. Can you please tell me of the official procedure for letting the members know when a Laser is fixed? I've been asking with no response. thanks

It is not on "discuss" because it is not a "chat" item.
I responded to you with this procedure Fri, Mar 3, 2017 at 9:18 AM. You posted the question to board-discuss and it was responded to via board-discuss.
