Hi everyone!

Just a quick reminder that the early bird ticket rate for the php[tek] conference (right here in Atlanta, May 31st to June 1st) is expiring this Wednesday, February 28th. You can even use our discount code, so this is the cheapest the tickets will be - don't wait too long! Schedule, registration, and info are linked below.

10% discount code - TK8-UG-ATLPHP

Hope to see you there!

Hi everyone!

The schedule for this year's php[tek] conference is now live at https://tek.phparch.com/schedule! I've been to tek for most of the last several years, and in my opinion, this is one of the best sets of talks and speakers in a while. They have some terrific training and workshop opportunities as well. It will be downtown at the Sheraton this year (just a few blocks from MARTA), and there's about a dozen speakers from Atlanta, including group members/speakers Brent Laminack and Micah Wood. Congratulations to both of them!

Early bird ticket rates close on February 28th, so definitely consider registering soon.

They also have a scholarship program, sponsored by Twilio (thanks, Matthew!). As explained on the tek site, "Priority will be given to those who self-identify as being part of an under-represented group at technical conferences, whose companies will not send them, and cannot afford to attend on their own." More details and the application link are at https://tek.phparch.com/financial-assistance-programs. Apply very soon, as notices will go to recipients on March 31st.

At the same link as above (https://tek.phparch.com/financial-assistance-programs), they also mention emailing them to ask about volunteering at the conference, so if you're interested in that, definitely get in touch with them soon.

If you have further questions about anything, please don't hesitate to email me directly. Looking forward to seeing you there!
