Announcing a new Meetup for the AtlantaPHP User Group!
When: Thursday, October 12th, 2017 — 7pm-9pm
NOTE: This meeting is off our usual schedule of the 1st Thursday of the month. This will be the 2nd Thursday.

Directions: Take I-285 to Cobb Parkway/US-41. Go south & turn left on Akers Mill Rd. At the 2nd traffic light, go left into Cobb Galleria, then an immediate left into the parking garage. Enter the 600 bldg & tell security you’re there for AtlantaPHP, 14th floor.
SPECIAL NOTE: Building security has become a bit more
strict, so please do your best to arrive before 7pm. On arrival, you
might need to mention that you are coming to a meeting at ShootProof.

Alex Riviere on "Laravel, Vue.js, and How to Hate Javascript Less" - We'll go over what is Vue.js and brief examples of how to use it in a fresh Laravel install.
Brian DeShong on "Displaying Dates and Times Around the World" - Drawing from some very recent experience, Brian will talk about best practices and common considerations with localizing date and time values for display to users all around the world, using DateTime and the intl extension.
