The role entails having

·      Expertise in building scalable web applications on a cloud infrastructure.

·      Comfortable with web frameworks to build scalable web applications.

·      Experienced in client-server coding languages (HTML/CSS, PHP, CSS, Python, Ruby, Perl, Java, JavaScript, JSON/XML, PS)

·      Understands UI/UX usability using frontend/backend web frameworks (AngularJS, Laravel, Node.js, Bootstrap, CakePHP, RubyOnRails)

·      Understands dependencies, debugging, and logging (NPM, Nuget, Composer, XDebug, Loggly)

·      Experience in building unit test cases using web frameworks (PHPUnit, CodeCeption, Karma, Protracter)

·      Understands coding patterns (MVC) and building/maintaining schema models.

·      Experience with source control and continous integration (Github, BitBucket, CircleCI, Codeship, WebHooks, GitBash),

·      Experience designing, versioning, and maintaining RESTful APIs.

·      Strong working knowledge of network stack and configuration (IP Routing/Firewalls).

·      Ability to document test procedures, code architecture, workflows, schemas and user guides.

·      Solid skills in Linux administration (Cron, Security, LAMP) and configuration (Puphet, Chef)

·      Team attitude who is self motivated.

·      Ability to work with remote teams.

·      Familiarity with Scrum and Agile development techniques.

·      Passionate about building innovative software within a strong team culture.

A-Plus (extra consideration)

·      Experience on AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, SWF, CloudWatch, IAM, Opswork, ELB, ASG)

·      Experience with WebGL Technologies

·      Experience with at least one compiled, process-based language (C, C++, C#, ObjectiveC, Swift)

·      Familiar with Windows web server technologies (WAMP/IIS/.NET).

·      Experience in Vagrant or Docker technologies

·      Experience integrating to 3rd Party Web Service APIs (Freshdesk, Braintree, Firebase, Wordpress, Sketchfab, or Twilio)

·      Winner or Runner-Up at a Tech Crunch sponsored Hackathon (or Equivalent)

·      Top 25% in StackOverflow's reputation rank

Education and Experience Requirements: B.S. Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent. 3+ years of industry experience is a plus.
