Thompson Technologies is seeking a Sr. PHP Engineer with our client in the Marietta/Cobb Galleria area.  This is a direct hire/permanent position with an extraordinary company where you will use your experience to build products that are used by millions of users.

What you will do:

• Implement scalable solutions using PHP, AWS, and other technologies as needed.
• Work with data models in a relational database to support enhancements to existing features as well as new features.
• Design and implement RESTful API endpoints for use of a variety of client applications.
• Collaborate with designers and front-end developers to ensure product is being built to specifications.

What we need:

• 7+ years of deep software engineering experience, with at least 3 years as a Senior Engineer (PHP).
• Must know your way around a relational database, including writing complex queries and schema design.
• Experience writing unit tests.
• AWS experience a plus.
• Ability to write maintainable code.
