Hi everyone!
The Early Bird rates for the 2017 php[tek] conference here in Atlanta in May are ending this Saturday, February 18th. You only have five days left to get the biggest savings possible for the conference. You can see the schedule of sessions and speakers at https://tek.phparch.com/schedule/. There will be some pretty big names and well-known people in the global PHP community there, so you shouldn't miss the chance to hear their talks and to meet them in the "hallway track" and at the after-parties. (And I'm happy to make introductions!) Also, note there are training day sessions for Laravel, Docker, security, and deployment topics, as well as half-day workshops on many other topics as well.
If you haven't been to a conference before, it's tough to convey how great they are and how much they benefit your career, but once you go to one, I think you'll be hooked. You can learn so much in a short time and make connections literally from around the world. It's really a no-brainer to attend php[tek] since the conference is right here in town, thus you don't need a flight, hotel, and so on. Local turn-out is pretty important to keep the conference in Atlanta too, so hopefully you'll consider attending.
