PHP Web Developer - eCommerce

Full-time position for a PHP web developer in the Norcross area of Georgia. $70 – 80K base + bonus + relocation assistance + benefits. 

Yes, you must work on-site. No visa sponsorship of any kind. 

We have placed many people here and they love it. You will work on their eCommerce team developing websites for several companies under their corporate umbrella. They are a highly successful manufacturing company and their B2C sites are rapidly expanding. Also, you will get to learn new tools (such as Magento). 

• The PHP Web Developer will have some experience working with eCommerce platforms, systems integrations and/or ERP functionalities as well as Server Side configuration.
• They will be able to structure and build out all requirements and identify hurdles for new functionality.
• Will be involved in meetings w/the business community in order to understand the requirements from a technical standpoint and build out development needs in order to deliver the project in on time and on budget.
• When executing a project, estimate projects accurately.
• Develop prototypes; build and reuse scalable code; program classes, functions, and scripts to meet requirements with sufficient error handling
• Develop web applications, pages, databases, and supporting systems on the Magento Enterprise Platform Develop EDI Magento extensions that integrate with various backend and supplementary systems
• Build and maintain databases; ensuring cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility; protecting against common security loopholes
• Apply concepts of graceful degradation, progressive enhancement, and unobtrusive scripting
  
  

Required: Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in the following:

• Programming Languages: PHP (most important is strong PHP), XML, XHTML, HTML, Ajax, jQuery,OOP
• Web Services – One or more of the following: XML, SOAP, JSON, WSDL, WS-I,XML-RPC
• Developing in PHP, JavaScript 
• Application development usingMySQL
• Configuring applications to run on Linux servers with optimal performance
• Web interface design with strong XHTML and CSS
