COuld you give some context of what ur trying to do. Seems like to trying to run the baseline update. Could you restart ur servers & try again. 

Also, would be nice if you could tell us what solved the problem

Yes, it seems to be an issue with Endeca instance, so stopped and
cleaned logs and restarted those services and it starts working.
