Greenville Mini Maker Faire

Hey Fellow Makers,

Today I submitted an application for us (Asheville Makers) to exhibit at the Mini Maker Faire to be held at the Greenville Children's Museum (http://www.tcmupstate.org/). This is a one day event: Saturday February 27, 2016. We will be notified if we're accepted by Feb 7. Please mark your calendar as we'll need volunteers to help exhibit. 

Here are the things I said we could bring:

1. Giant Vortex Air Cannon (and the mini 32 gal. trash can version)

2. Giant Robot

3. Hovercraft

4. Paper rocket make and launch (using the new industrial grade "stomp" rocket launcher)

We can bring more than this or less than this. It's up to us. 

If we do the paper rockets they'll provide volunteers to help kids make the rockets.

PS  I've contacted the NC Arboretum about their spring 2016 "Mountain Science Expo". We've exhibited their two years in a row and I'm hoping we can return. I'll send the date as soon as they provide it. Until then, here's video of the 2015 event:
