Laser cutter red marker dot

Used the cutter on the 24th. Realized about halfway through that there was no red laser marking the cut position. Fiddled with it and I think that there is either a bad wire where it bends pretty sharply about 3" from the laser head or a bad connection to the laser head itself. Unless someone gets to it earlier I'm hoping to be at the space tomorrow afternoon and I'll take a closer look.

Didn't Zak mention some issues with this at the meeting last Tuesday?

Yep we talked about it last week but haven't gotten a chance to look into it more. I was able to get it to work when bent at specific angles which supports the bad wire/connection theory. Hopefully an easy fix.
