Impact Assessment Course

The overall objective of the course is to equip participants with skills and knowledge in designing and conduction quality impact evaluations.
The course is aiming at equipping participants with skills to plan and manage cost effective impact evaluation
Course Content
Basic introduction to impact evaluation
Impact evaluation terms of reference
Impact evaluation exercise-methodology and data collection tools/techniques
Analysis and presentation of impact evaluation findings
Learning Outcome
By the end of the course participants will be able to:
Describe Key Elements of impact evaluation
Develop impact evaluation terms of reference and design impact evaluation exercise
Develop data collection tools for impact evaluation
Analyze data from the field/case study and present impact evaluation findings
Target Group
The course is meant for people who are conducting and/or managing monitoring and evaluation in their organization, program managers,
funders, policy makers, and people who would like to improve their practical experience in conducting impact evaluation.
