circuitspecialists.com is running an aggressive sale on various items, primarily electronic components, typically around 60-70% off.

I'll particularly call out desoldering braid as that may be of interest for soldering class; while that stuff commonly runs $1.50-$2.00 for a 5 foot spool retail, CS is offering several widths from 1-3 mm for 30 cents, plus or minus, depending on  width. Chinese manufacture, so probably low quality, so it may have to be manually fluxed before use, but IMO worth stocking up on.

Disregard the carbon resistors; tayda everyday is cheaper and metal film is better for most applications anyway. But they also have good prices on heavy diodes, silver mica capacitors, multiturn trim pots, some trim caps, multipole toggle switches and several oddball items (for example plastic propellers).

As always, careful with shipping charges; those impose a soft minimum order size.

Quantities limited, and shown on the item detail pages, so don't dawdle.
