Junk Donations Needed

On Feb. 17th I'm going to be hosting a lot of kids at the space.   One of their favorite things to do at AR is tear stuff apart.  Things with buttons, motors or articulated joints are the best.  Think calculators, toy cars, remotes, tape decks, VCRs...   We will properly recycle as much as possible.  I put a bin next to the misc electronics.  If you have anything to donate we'd be grateful.

Are you planning on doing something like this again? I have at least 4 desktops and who knows how much other random electronic "junk" the needs to be recycled but kids would enjoy ripping apart. The last thing I want to do is clutter the space

Maybe we should have a destruction event more than once a year?

The destruction event seemed to go over well, we could plan another one. If we head one the Sunday before earth day we could recycle all the electronics at a free e-waste recycle event on earth day.

FYI, next Sunday is the Sunday before this year’s Earth Day celebrations.

FYI, the Recycling Extravaganza associated with the St Louis Earth Day celebrations has already happened. (They split the two events last year)
