So we made really good progress Tuesday night on build out. We framed the second door, cut and drilled the plates for the support wheel and adjustment, and worked on a few shop organization projects.
That being said I can't stress enough that people really need to RSVP... we had ONE member confirm they were coming and 9 show up. I had to scramble to come up with stuff for people to do because I had made a plan for 4 people. Luckily the fourth wall has multiple parts that could be worked independently and concurrently. I've heard from some members that they don't come to build night because it seems unorganized and they get frustrated at standing around while a plan is developed. The problem is it is impossible to come up with a decent plan when I have no idea how many people are coming and what their skill sets are. Also please try to show up close to 7. The same planning problems happen when 5 people are there at 7 and then 4 or 5 more wander in at 15 minute intervals.
