Welding Assistance?

Recently I attended the class on MIG welding. Now I have a welding project of my own (repairing some tearing on a bedframe). 

I've only welded the one time at the class; while I'm reasonably confident I can make the minor repair I'm planning, I'm wondering if there's anyone experienced with welding who would be willing to watch me work so I don't make any beginner's mistakes? I was thinking of doing this during one of the Sunday build nights relatively soon.
