Dev kit release in december?

Google keeps pushing back the release date of the development kit. I think it has been delayed four times now. Are there any 'insiders' here that can confirm that Project ARA is still going to release the dev kit in December?

my company is waiting the development kit since almost an year, but we had no answer. The person contacted us last time to inform us for a new delay 5 months ago, does not answer anymore to my email. Is the project still alive?
