Hi,

I have recently run a tracker with the NOHAB-10 callsign (HG50NOHAB wouldn't fit the conventions with SSID so I decided to display it only in the message field) and it seems like some of the packets arrived with some hours of delay, when the tracker got already switched off. Now those two packets show up on the map and since I embed aprs.fi on the hg50nohab.hu site and at least another site takes the data via the API, it shows the final position of the tracker at an incorrect place. The two errorneous packages are these:

2013-11-17 18:38:03 CET: NOHAB-10>4W4U31,OM3KII-2,OE6XTR,OE8XDR-11,WIDE2*,qAO,S56UBS:`-5UmK&=/'"59}M61,010 - Tracking by HG50NOHAB - visit www.hg50nohab.hu!wwb!|3 [Location changes too fast (adaptive limit)]

2013-11-17 18:38:03 CET: NOHAB-10>4W4U34,OE6XTR,OE8XDR-11,WIDE2*,qAO,S56UBS:`-5Ql!<0x1e>=/'"59}M61,010 - Tracking by HG50NOHAB - visit www.hg50nohab.hu!w\)!|3

Is there any chance to remove them from the database and keep this one as the last one:

2013-11-17 18:27:25 CET: NOHAB-10>4W3P02,HG5PBD-2*,WIDE2-2,qAR,OM3KAP-1,T2CZECH:`/]ul#,=/'"5.}M61,010 - Tracking by HG50NOHAB - visit www.hg50nohab.hu!w+X!|3

Thanks,
Pisti HA5STS, operator of HG50NOHAB

Unfortunately I don't have the time to manually maintain the database
contents and remove bad packets after the fact. I'd better spend my
time on improving the software to maximize "return on investment"
(usefulness of the service).

The usual advice applies: Transmit timestamped packets, and your
delayed packets are less likely to get accepted.
