Solving story problems can be a challenge for students. One way to help is to use the Google Docs add-on called "Highlight Tool". This add-on allows you to create sets of colors and assign descriptions to the different highlight colors in the set. With these colors the students can highlight different parts of the story problem to help identify the given information, the operations, the question, and any unnecessary information.
