Quick question.  Can you embed an awesome table in the New Google Sites?

Yes you can, Becky: in fact Awesome Table is just about the only 'gadget' supported in New Sites, although there will eventually be a far bigger ecosystem of third-party apps once the API has been opened up a little.  It's the standard way Google introduces new products these days.

Oops. That help page is for the OLD Sites.

You get the link to the AwesomeTable View, then use Embed URL in the new Site's Insert menu.

Perfect!  Got it.  

My next question is whether any of you know when the old sites is going to "disappear", as I have several things being used by our teachers and students that I can't, currently, recreate in the new Sites, due to the inability to embed what I need to embed.  I'm trying to figure out if I should go to another site creation option or wait it out in hopes that I'll be able to use the New Sites (they give us the ability to embed what I need to embed) before I lose my old sites.

Anybody have any insights?
